A small baby crying for food, a small boy toiling hard for mere pennies, a little girl working as domestic maid, exposure to the hardships of life at an embryonic age................

The list goes on, on and on.........

Apparently, that is the life of many children who have not even experienced eating to their heart's content, leave well alone the other necessities like clothing, shelter and education.

When one comes across any like the ones described above, the hearts of many of us surely get touched.....

The mind says Oh dear, what a pity it is ! ! !

But do we make any difference......... ? ? ?

The next sight that catches attention draws curtains to the emotional thought that was evoked...

One extra step,

One extra thought,

A sense of humanity,

A touch of love,

A feeling of attachment,

And above all a heartfelt wide smile can be billion dollars to those little ones.

But H O W ?

What lacks in this whole context is a platform to make them feel part of the world and to bring a smile on their little faces in our own little ways.

That is exactly what I got today in SNEHA, a group of volunteers involved in activities with charitable social organizations such as orphanages, homes for the challenged etc.....

And I smiled that I can make somebody smile and inturn smile watching them smile, make them smile and smile ................................................

More smiles per hour.......... :-)

This surely is the TVS Victor of my life......

As a smile that can mitigate somebody's sufferings is always victorious...

I wish many of us can come forward, join hands together and materialise the thoughts in our mind that otherwise get cremated at the thought - level after pitying.

I am going to make a difference. Will u ?
